PeaceCover.net ("PeaceCover", "we", "us") is operated by Boomnetwork. We are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) issued under it. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and how you can access, correct or complain about the handling of your information.

We do not ask visitors to submit sensitive information (such as health, financial account or identity document details) directly to us. If you choose to get a quote or apply for a policy through a partner insurer's website, any personal information you provide there is collected and handled by that insurer under its own privacy policy — not by PeaceCover.net.
We collect information directly from you (for example, if you email us), automatically through cookies and similar tracking technologies when you browse the site, and from analytics and advertising partners such as Google Analytics and Google AdSense.
Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, understand how it's used, and serve relevant advertising. This includes Google Analytics (usage analytics), Google AdSense and affiliate network tracking pixels (to attribute referrals to partner insurers and measure advertising performance). You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though some site features may not function correctly without them. Google provides an opt-out browser add-on for Google Analytics, and you can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.
We do not sell personal information to third parties.
We may disclose limited information to: service providers who help us run the site (such as our hosting provider and analytics/advertising partners); partner insurers, where click-through or referral data is needed to attribute a lead or sale; and regulators or authorities where required by law.
Some of our service providers — including hosting infrastructure and analytics/advertising platforms such as Google — operate servers located outside Australia, including in the United States. Under Australian Privacy Principle 8, where personal information is disclosed to an overseas recipient, we take reasonable steps to ensure that recipient does not breach the APPs in relation to that information, including by relying on providers with their own privacy and security commitments.
If you subscribe to updates from us, we will only send marketing communications in accordance with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) — meaning with your consent, with a functional unsubscribe mechanism in every message, and with clear identification of PeaceCover.net as the sender. You can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us directly.
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No method of online transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a data breach involving personal information that is likely to result in serious harm, we will comply with our obligations under the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme in Part IIIC of the Privacy Act 1988, including notifying affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) where required.
Under APPs 12 and 13, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you and ask that it be corrected if it's inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Our site is intended for adults researching insurance products and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Our site contains links to insurers and other third parties. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those external sites, and we recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any provider before submitting personal information to them.
